Virtual/Hybrid Events & Marketing

The majority of my work in broadcast has been in producing, delivering and marketing events; from red carpet screenings for popular period BBC drama Peaky Blinders and Lenny Henry’s Danny and The Human Zoo, to managing venues such as The Big Screen at The International Broadcasting Convention and the VIP areas of both Cheltenham Jazz and Literature Festivals. I have also delivered events internationally in Amsterdam, Spain, Oman, Hong Kong, Dubai and Ghana.

I recently worked with Wildscreen as Event Technical Producer to deliver the virtual edition of their festival in October 2020. This was the most challenging, yet rewarding event of my career, live streaming pre-recorded content remotely and in the studio. The festival included keynotes, masterclasses and panel sessions featuring the world’s best filmmakers, photographers and conservationists. There were 43 virtual events, with 120+ speakers from multiple time zones across the globe, equating to almost 250 hours of content, reaching diverse audiences from 42 countries. There were 6 film screenings, with 3 live Q&As featuring 11 speakers and 14 live links with guests in the studio. Highlights include bringing Sir David Attenborough and Greta Thunberg together in conversation, as well as organising keynotes with Hollywood director James Cameron, Dr. Jane Goodall, Sandesh Kadur and Swedish Professor of Environmental Science; Johan Rockström.
