Podcast

I launched my podcast, The Diversity of Me; Keeping It Real in just three weeks during lockdown 1.0. From just an idea, to then working through what I wanted the podcast to be about, collating my poems to recite, briefing a designer for my branding and artwork, then purchasing all the equipment I needed, and finally working out how I was going to record it all in my tiny flat! You can see in one of the photos above I have been incredibly resourceful! I am working from the smallest dining room table known to man and I have two IKEA bendy lamps that hold up my Wilko duvet. Who needs a swanky recording studio when you can record in a home studio like this?! 😅 You can listen via Apple Podcasts or Spotify or wherever you like to get your podcasts from.

For me, my podcast (in the words of Marie Kondo) ‘sparks joy!’ As a furlough worker during lockdown 1.0, it gave me a focus and a structure to my day, and actually something to look forward to as the world was descending in chaos. I’ve poured my heart and soul into it. Thank you to my listeners, your reviews have been amazing!
